Microsoft is no longer willing to buy Yahoo for $33 a share, and talks between the two have ended. Yahoo is close to a search-advertising pact with Google. Yahoo shares tumble 10%.

The question is: Will Take-Two’s Zelnick face a similar fate when Electronic Art’s Riccitiello gets fed up with all the stalling. Many have argued that Microsoft needs Yahoo a whole lot more than EA needs Take-Two.
