Free Tumbling
I’m somewhat ashamed to share a blogging platform with Jakob Lodwick (see Valleywag), but I’m smitten with Tumblr’s UI — and the fact you can easily embed the Tumblog into an existing site.
See, I’ve got Wordpress (and a broken template) up and running on my site, but my PHP skills are non-existent. That means I have to both rely on a prefab design and live with the knowledge it doesn’t mesh with my grand artistic vision. Tumblr seems like a fair compromise. It just sucks its feature set (archiving, catagorizing, etc.) isn’t as robust as true blogging software. By that I mean non-existant.
Archives to my former, self-aggrandizing blog can be found here. It’s shelved until I get sick of this.
